EasyFPL is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. We believe in transparency and minimizing data collection.

Information We Collect

Automatic Information

When you visit EasyFPL, we may automatically collect:

• Log data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and pages visited (collected by our hosting provider)
• Device information: Screen size and device type for responsive design purposes

Information You Provide

If you enter your FPL Team ID to view your team, this ID is:

• Sent to EasyFPL server API routes so they can request your team data from the official FPL API
• Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) for convenience
• Not used to create an EasyFPL account or profile
• Not intentionally stored by EasyFPL, though it may appear in normal server or hosting logs for API requests

What We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses or account registration details
• Payment information or real-world financial account details
• User accounts or passwords

How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience when analytics are configured
• Debug technical issues
• Protect against abuse and maintain security

Third-Party Services

EasyFPL uses the following third-party services:

Vercel (Hosting)

Our website is hosted on Vercel, which collects standard server logs. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Fantasy Premier League API

We fetch data from the official FPL API through EasyFPL server API routes. When you enter your Team ID, EasyFPL sends that ID to the official FPL API to retrieve publicly available team and pick data. See the Premier League's privacy policy for their data practices.

PostHog (Analytics)

EasyFPL can use PostHog client-side analytics when a PostHog project key is configured. This may identify usage by your FPL Team ID and may include the team name and manager name returned by the official FPL API. Team load analytics may also include gameweek, FPL squad value, FPL bank, total points, and overall rank. Interaction analytics may include captain changes, transfer actions, hot transfer panel usage, and position tab changes. Error analytics may include team load error messages, the entered FPL Team ID, and error type. PostHog may also collect page views, page leave events, unhandled client errors, and session replay data, subject to browser settings such as Do Not Track.

Cookies

EasyFPL uses minimal cookies and local storage:

• Essential: For basic site functionality
• Preferences: Your FPL Team ID may be saved in your browser's localStorage for convenience
• Analytics: PostHog may use cookies or local storage when analytics are configured

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information
• Share data with advertisers
• Transfer data to third parties for marketing purposes

We may share anonymized, aggregate statistics about site usage. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request information about what data we have
• Deletion: Clear your local storage to remove stored preferences
• Opt-out: Use browser privacy settings or extensions to limit tracking

Children's Privacy

EasyFPL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Features related to betting odds are intended for users aged 18 and over.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
